BBA?or?B.Tech - Which is the Better Course?
These B.Tech & BBA are two aspects. And the improvement will depend upon your field of interest & skill of students whether he wants to seek the carrier in Management or engineering. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) & Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA)? are two of the most sought-after UG courses for students applying for graduate studies. Before we excavate into concluding the better of the two programs, let us examine each of the programs in detail individually, and know-how BBA is various from B.Tech studies.
B Tech
B.E./B Tech is one of the most famous programs in India. Most of the students prefer this course with the idea of securing a well-paid career after the finish of their professional degree. In B.Tech, you can select any branch of engineering depending upon your interesting area among Mechanical, Electronics, Aerospace, CSE, Civil, Food Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Computer Engineering or any other. Core engineering postgraduates can find employment in various areas. There is a huge demand for qualified engineers in the real estate and construction sector, petrochemical industry, automobile manufacturing, and design, & development of industrial equipment. Aeronautical engineers are in a huge need to work in public and private aircraft fields. Computer science engineers will never go out of fashion, and the need for hardware & software engineers will always remain. If you plan to learn higher education after the finish of the B.E./ BTech program, You can do below courses after completion of the B.E./BTech degree.
- PGDM
- M Tech
- MSC or M.S.
- MBA
BTech degree candidates used to hold a place of pride in Indian society before M.B.A. emerged as the most sought-after academic program. Suddenly, top tier business schools started taking up the place of glory, where every student worth his/her salt required to end up at, and not so much the once-hallowed I.I.T.s. So, engineers began opting for an M.B.A. after slogging it out in engineering schools for four long years.
But why didn't they opt for B.B.A. in the first place? Why would they study a different discipline to change tracks later on entirely? Isn't it logical for an M.B.A. candidate to learn B.B.A.? Or is the move from BTech to M.B.A. a more rational option, more likely to bear fruits in one's career?
Confused? Don't be. We have got you covered. We spoke to career counselor Pervin Malhotra to resolve this dilemma and here's what she had to say:
Why BTech?
If you are an engineering student, it supports you in a way. It helps you reason out things in a rational way, which is a should for a student who intends to seek an M.B.A. The world is increasingly driven by technology, so if you have a good knowledge of the technical area, it supports your logical things. So, if you bag a job at a few technological firms after your M.B.A., it makes things easier. Moreover, BTech is a full-fledged professional qualification. You will most likely land up with an excellent job because of your BTech degree alone.
Why do students opt for BTech and not B.B.A.?
What happens is that the ones who are generally good at science inevitably land up doing a BTech program. But by the time their program comes to a close, they realize they aren't that good with coding-decoding. It is then that an M.B.A. degree comes to their rescue. Besides, an M.B.A. degree offers you more money, especially if you don't end up getting an excellent job after BTech.
BBA
BBA is a UG program which you can pursue after you have cleared your class 12th. This degree offers an extraordinary combination of theory and practice to gives a solid base in general business management with specializations in the field of the option. The scope of the management program is increasing day by day. Once you have finished your BBA degree, you have a great job opportunity in the competitive world. So, you earn your skill & knowledge in an interesting field in the area. You can reach the highest designation, in a quick time. It opens several professional paths in the future. In each industry, business administration specialists or professionals play an essential role. The management is the way to reach height as soon as potential by using your leadership and working ability. Management professional continually plays an essential role in the company. All sectors, including public & private, have various industries, companies, institutions, or related organizations, come in the prospective job fields for management professionals.
If you plan to study higher education after the completion of the BBA program, the MBA is the best master's degree to take after the completion of your courses. You can give the management entrance exams like CAT, GRE, GMAT, MAT, Symbiosis National Aptitude Examination, etc.
B.B.A. isn't redundant?though
BTech might be the coveted degree, but this doesn't mean your hopes of seeking B.B.A. require to go to the bin. A B.B.A degree does enhance one's business intelligence. It's better than a general bachelor's degree. After seeking B.B.A., one can switch their area of specialization. One might take to journalism or any other professional program, for that matter. As opposed to that, a general bachelor's degree will never support you fetch a corporate job if you aspire to have one. So, it's always better to opt for B.B.A. over B.A.
Comparison of B.Tech vs BBA:
B.B.A. vs. BTech
In case you seek B.B.A. unless you make it to the best college, it won't add much to your credentials. At most, you might have the opportunity upon a sales job. B.B.A. is like doing mini M.B.A., so it is a duplication of the same program. It doesn't support you to grow professionally. A BTech degree, on the other hand, helps you develop your personality. Besides, you will be dabbling in two various genres, which makes you multifaceted.
