Chitwan medical College is an initiative of a nonprofit making organization named International Society for Medical Education Private Limited. It was granted permission to open this amazing teaching place in the Bharatpur region of Nepal. It was started in the year 1993 after Nepal government gave permission for having a great institution in Nepal for imparting quality medical education to students and good healthcare facilities to all. The institution strives to make quality doctors, support staff and paramedical professionals to serve the society and nation at large.

Chitwan Medical College got recognition from Medical Council of India, Medical council of Sri Lanka and General Medical Council of Great Britain. It is also recognized by The ECFMG- USA. It maintains the vision of becoming an independent center of excellence that imparts very high standard medical education and services to the society.
